"So my friends we bask in complete gratitude for all that you given us — new eyes, new ears, and above all the sleep to use them wisely."
-- Nancy
Adrienne MacQueen and Allison Naidu are experienced physiotherapists who have worked in the pediatric environment. Both are also parents of young children under the age of six.
Coming from medical backgrounds, Allison and Adrienne know the importance of quality sleep to both the developing child, and to the parent. They encountered personally the struggles surrounding sleep-related behaviour, and knew the need for good information and support for tired and often desperate parents.
Surprised at the virtual absence of reliable, practical community-based programs, they decided to research the available knowledge on sleep. Their work, supplemented by their own experiences and extensive consultation with parents, led to "Sleep Matters".
Allison Naidu and Adrienne MacQueen have degrees in physiotherapy. They have worked in private clinics, hospitals and in home and school-based programs for young children. Both are mothers with a combined total of six young children.
