1. Does Sleep Matters subscribe to a single sleep theory?
The consultants at Sleep Matters are able to customize strategies to each family’s needs. Our solutions are based on extensive research, as well as personal experience. As we believe each situation is unique, as are the people involved, we feel the optimal approach is to make the solution fit the situation.
2. How do I determine whether a phone consult or a class is my best option?
Simply put, if you require immediate assistance and prefer a private discussion, the phone consultation would be your best bet. However, if you would prefer to gain general sleep knowledge for present and future difficulties, and enjoy learning from other parents, then the class would work for you.
3. Can I pay for the class/consult online?
Yes, you can use VISA, Mastercard, or American Express online. Our website provides secure transactions.
4. What is the cost of your services?
The Sleep Matters class is a one-time, two hour class. The cost per person or per couple is $75.
We also offer a one-on-one telephone consultation, which includes a 60-minute initial call, as well as a 15-30 minute follow-up call. This also includes a personalized sleep plan. The total cost of this package is $180.
However, if you have attended our Sleep Matters Class and have additional concerns or questions, we offer a discounted rate of $105 for a full-package telephone consult.
5. What should I do if I forgot my password?
No problem! Just click on the “Forgot password” link found under the “Log In” link on our Home Page.
6. Who are the Sleep Matters consultants?
Adrienne MacQueen and Allison Naidu are experienced physiotherapists who have worked in the pediatric environment. Both are also parents of young children under the age of six. Adrienne and Allison are very passionate about the importance of sleep from infancy to adulthood.
7. Where is the class located?
Sleep Matters is currently based in South Edmonton. Our class location depends on class size and availability. Please check our website for the most recent class location.
8. Are we able to bring our nanny or babysitter to the class?
Sure. We will allow each family to bring family members and/or caregivers to the class. It is very important for all those involved with your baby/child to be on the same page with the sleep plan.
9. Will there be any take-home material provided in the class?
Yes! We provide you with a booklet of information ranging in topics from how much sleep a child needs to nap schedules to providing you with night time and naptime sleep strategies.

Our cancellation policy states that you may transfer your registration to another available class. Although we do not currently provide refunds, we will evaluate each situation on an individual basis.
